The Frederick Church – October 2014 Campaign
Heaven is for Real is the title of a recent best-selling book and major motion picture. A young boy claims to experience a trip to heaven during a medical emergency, sparking conversation and reflection on the ultimate question that people have wrestled with for ages: Is there really life after death? For Christians, the answer to that question is a faithful and triumphant “Yes”! Since Christ’s resurrection, the “one hope” (Ephesians 4:4) of eternal life has been a central part of the gospel message. We believe that heaven IS for real. And over the next month, we will be inspired by that hope and share it!

Sunday, September 28th – One Hope: The Victory of the Resurrection of Christ
Jesus scored a decisive victory over death when God raised him from the dead. Now Christ holds power over life and death and deserves to be Lord of all. How amazing is that?
Sunday, October 5th – ACR Conference, VA Beach: “Celebrate”!
The ACR Conference will be like a little piece of heaven on earth. Let’s enjoy the time of celebration and fuel the hope that we have in Christ. There will be a Family Worship Service at Crestwood Middle School for those not attending the conference.
Sunday, October 12th – One Hope: The Promise of Eternal Life for All who Believe
The victory of Christ’s resurrection is not for Him alone. He holds out salvation and hope of eternal life to all who believe. That is an incredible offer and promise – so incredible that it should radically change our lives in ways that are evident here and now.
Sunday, October 19th – One Hope: Heaven IS for Real…so what is it like?
Special “All Nations” Worship Service
There are incredible things to look forward to in heaven, where people from all nations will worship God forever in unity. It’s never too early to celebrate that promise and encourage each other with our hope. Bring a friend!
